GeekShed is a free to use and family-friendly Internet Relay Chat network, capable of hosting chat rooms for a variety of purposes. To start chatting on GeekShed, you can browse our list of chat rooms. You can connect to these rooms using the Kiwi Chat Client above on the CHAT tab, simply by clicking the Search icon. You can also connect using an IRC client of your choice to irc.geekshed.net port 6667 or 6697 for SSL.
GeekShed’s chat network is professionally managed with your safety in mind.
Full services support is available to help you create your own chat rooms and register your nicknames to avoid other people using them. You can also embed the chat rooms you create onto your own website!
